The Verdict
Atlantis Oceanfront Inn is a total surprise — a breakfast cafe located in a motor inn along Bass Rocks, a scenic oceanfront in Gloucester. The cafe has a great view of the water and serves REALLY good pancakes — light and airy — with a huge dollop of butter on top.
The blueberry pancakes are the real star: crispy edges, tons of little blueberries. And the waitresses are full of love.
Nobody would ever expect this sort of rating from this small breakfast cafe.
Plan Ahead — This One Is Seasonal
The Breakfast Cafe is open daily 7:30–11am, May through October only, then it closes up for the winter. You do not need to be staying at the inn — it is open to the public. Show up before 11 or wait until spring.
